Ethnographies

Ethnographies take us to where consumers are so we can immerse ourselves in their lives and gain insight into what they do (or don’t do!) in everyday life

1-on-1 Interviews

1-on-1 interviews help us dive more deeply into individual opinions, and get reactions without the influence of others in the room.

Shop-Alongs

Shop-alongs enable us to accompany consumers where they shop. We see up-close how they behave and feel about the shopping experience

Focus Groups

Focus groups with consumers are a great way to learn opinions and gather feedback. They are particularly useful for getting reactions to new concepts

Online Techniques

Online techniques (e.g. discussion boards, digital diaries, online interviews/ focus groups) are great when direct contact isn’t required
